Welcome to Stars Football Academy
Home of Stars Mini Strikers, Stars Development Sessions, Stars Football Club (Teams ranging from U6-U12), Small Group Sessions, One to One Coaching Sessions and Children's Birthday Parties - All based at our wonderful home venue, Kingsleigh Primary School.
Founded in 2015, Our Football department has been built brick by brick, all whilst sticking to the core beliefs and values that our Directors, Coaches and now parents and players stand for. We are extremely proud of our journey so far, which started with four children in a field.
Stars is a 100% inclusive environment; we believe every child has the right to learn and embrace the beautiful game. We welcome boys and girls of all ages and abilities, and without promising the world we can certainly promise to improve your child/children across the Technical/Tactical, Physical, Phycological and Social elements of Football.
We have a pathway that is transparent and allows progression from Mini Strikers, to Mini Soccer, Youth Leagues and Cups and beyond, our teams currently compete in the Dorset Youth Leagues and play games on Sundays.
Our philosophy is very much one of keeping children on the move for physical and mental health benefits, its with this focus that we designed our very own and unique, Elite Membership Programme. This sees our players active via structured sessions four times per week, including team focused training, Dorset FA affiliated matches, Circuits, Strength and Conditioning and Individual focused training.
Although we have grown at a steady pace, Stars still has a completely family feel. All our teams train alongside each other, our presentation nights are always a whole club event as are many of our socials. This has allowed parents to aid our growth and maintain the positive environment by feeling and being part of the whole process.
All of our staff are FA Qualified Coaches, First Aid and Safeguarding trained with advanced DBS licenses. Many of our Coaches also work on our Educational contracts, Teaching within schools, leading to a great understanding of the wrap around care that young humans require. We are more than just coaches at Stars.
